Bus trip update, April 14th Saturday, we are going to
Collinsville ( near St. Louis) to a CKU scrapbooking show,
this is a show sponsored by Creating Keepsakes, you won't
want to miss shopping at about 30 stores under one roof, do
make and takes, see some companies, fabulous displays and
products and of course all the fun with us. The bus will
leave Canton around 7 a.m. and stop at 7:30 a.m.
Bartonville 474 McDonald's beside them is a truck parking
lot, we park to the back and leave cars there for the day.
Trip is $58 includes breakfast, treats, a drink, gift bag
and tickets. There is lunch available at the show, some
girls asked about taking your lunch, you are welcome to do
that if you like. We will stop on the way home in
Springfield for a fast food supper. The show is over at
5:30 p.m., and will depart soon after that. If you would
like to reserve your spot, you can call and confirm it with

This is a great idea starter, a place to learn a new
technique and lots of fun projects for scrapbooking, card
making, quilling, kids parties and lots of other subjects.

3. Scroll and brush markers, these are the zig markers that
are in the front, they have a split tip and a nice brush
tip. You can use them for coloring in staps, journaling
and card making stop by early this week, for the best

Each of these sets are $8.25, add a $5 block and you are
in business, they are the perfect way to stamp pages, or
start card making. If you haven't tried, come check them
out today! We'll show you how to use them. Even our
teachers are using them in classes.

5. May 5th National Scrapbook day
Make reservations to scrap all day with us on May 5th, for
National Scrapbook Day! The day will include a fabulous
lunch, make and take, learn to use the SEE D's , to make a
great card. The first 25 customers in the store on
National Scrapbook day will receive a free Stamp set from
Sugar Loaf. Plus a flyer with lots of things on sale in
the store. The cost of your crop for the day is $22.

Level - Intermediate

Step by Step

1 Using Black ink, stamp one flower from Picture This set
in top left corner of paper. (Leave enough room for white
flower to the left of it.)

2 Using Black ink, stamp “Darling dimples,” “Chubby
cheeks,” and “sweet face” from Favorite Features set and
brackets from Cupcake Alphabet, allowing room on page for
white phrases and name. (Refer to photo.)

3 Stamp two more flowers from Picture This set on either
side of black flower using embossing ink and emboss with
white powder.

4 Stamp “kissy lips” and “Bright eyes” from Favorite
Features set and name from Cupcake Alphabet using embossing
ink and emboss with white powder.

5 Stamp “adorable” from Favorite Features set with white
ink onto photo (do not try to emboss the photo).

6 Finish page by adding silk flower and alphabet brad.
